Full or part time (16 – 40 hours per week)

We are passionate about improving health outcomes in the Waitematā and Auckland district by delivering free, accessible, innovative community and primary health services focusing on Māori, Pacific, tamariki, rangatahi, whānau and other high-needs populations.  Te Puna Manawa’s Outreach Immunisation Service focuses on finding children who have not been able to be immunised on time and provides the whānau/caregivers with the opportunity for the child to be immunised at home.

 

He kōrero mō te tūranga | The Role:

We are looking for a vibrant, positive, competent vaccinator to complement our dynamic Outreach Immunisation Team.  This exciting opportunity is ideally suitable for a vaccinator with a can-do attitude who is motivated to provide an excellent standard of patient care. You will enjoy working closely with our friendly support and administration teams, knowing you are making a significant impact on the preventative health and wellbeing of young children.  This role will include working weekdays, weekday evenings and weekends. Hours are flexible.

 

He kōrero mōu | About You:

You must be an Independent Authorised Vaccinator that is able to vaccinate all age groups, inclusive of babies. You must also be competent in Covid and Flu Vaccinations.  Ideally you will be passionate about improving health outcomes for Māori, Pacific and underserved populations.  You will have a great sense of humour and be a team player!  Experience in primary care and community-based health services and knowledge of Medtech Evolution and MS Office suite would be an advantage.
