Te Puna Manawa HealthWEST is a Non-Government Organisation (NGO) based in Henderson committed to providing effective and efficient health services to the community. We are passionate about improving the health outcomes for our communities and providing innovative community and primary health services across the Waitemata region with a focus on Māori, Pacific, tamariki, rangatahi, whānau and other high-needs populations.

 

He kōrero mō te tūranga | The Role:

An awesome opportunity has arisen at Te Puna Manawa HealthWEST for a full time youth-friendly Choices to Wellbeing Administrator to work with our Primary Mental Health team. This role involves providing support to the Youth Health Hub and Choices to Wellbeing teams, ensuring the service runs smoothly, and acting as the link between young people and our youth mental health services.  The position requires working from both our Glenfield Hub and Henderson office as we operate services across the Te Whatu Ora Waitemata District.   A full-NZ Driver’s License is essential.

 

He kōrero mōu | About You:

Our ideal candidate is incredibly well-organised, has exceptional administration skills, and is proactive in their work. You will be approachable, friendly, have excellent communication skills, and be able to relate well with youth and their whanau. You will enjoy working with our Primary Mental Health team, and be part of a wider multidisciplinary Youth Health team which provides services to the Waitemata district.

The role requires experience in primary health care/community-based health services and a passion for improving the health outcomes for young people.  You will also have experience in working with youth, Māori and Pacific peoples.
