Outreach Immunisation Support Worker/Administrator

Full time (40 hours per week) Fixed Term 6 months

We are passionate about improving health outcomes in the Waitematā and Auckland district by delivering free, accessible, innovative community and primary health services focusing on Māori, Pacific, tamariki, rangatahi, whānau and other high-needs populations.  Te Puna Manawa’s Outreach Immunisation Service focuses on finding children who have not been able to be immunised on time and provides the whānau/caregivers with the opportunity for the child to be immunised at home.

 

He kōrero mō te tūranga | The Role:

We are looking for a vibrant support worker with excellent communication and data entry skills, who will hit the ground running in this particularly busy role.   This role is out in the community supporting our vaccinators and administration in the office.  This role will include working rostered weekday evenings and weekends.

 

He kōrero mōu | About You:

Ideally you will be passionate about improving health outcomes for Māori, Pacific and underserved populations.  You will have a great sense of humour and be a team player!  Experience in primary care and community-based health services and knowledge of Medtech Evolution and MS Office suite would be an advantage.  A full drivers license is required.
