Manaaki Services

The Manaaki Roopu is made up of various roles (navigators, community connector, social workers and others) that come together with different skill sets & strengths, that provide support through navigation.

The Manaaki Roopu will work alongside you to understand current immediate needs, then assess and plan with you and your whanau to achieve your goals and aspirations. It is a mana enhancing service that works on your whanau strengths and provides advocacy, guidance, tautoko and awhi to enable your whanau to navigate services, agencies and resources to achieve goals set out in your whanau plan.

This service uses a whanau ora concept of not only focusing on the individual but your whanau unit as a whole.

 

 

 

Kaimanaaki Service 

Kaimanaaki will be allocated to you and your whanau to initially set out a plan to achieve whanau goals. They will help you to look at ways to remove barriers and improve access and relationships with agencies, services and resources that will improve your whanau wairua and hauora. You will be introduced to an assessment tool that will assist you to realise your own strengths, challenges and needs to reach your whanau potential. 

Kaimanaaki will work towards providing a comprehensive wrap-around service to ensure you have access to all the resources required to reach those sustainable outcomes.

Not only are your immediate needs addressed, but we will support you in achieving your long-term whanau goals.

We operate from our Whānau Hub located on Lincoln Road. This whare provides a number of services from Healthy Homes, Healthy Babies Healthy Futures, Youth Development, Māori & Pacific Navigators, Covid Response, and other Clinical services.
