Te Puna Manawa’s Noho Āhuru – Healthy Homes is a free service supporting low income families to have warmer and healthier homes.
He kōrero mō te tūranga | The Role:
We are looking for a motivated, friendly, experienced Social Worker who will lead the Noho Āhuru team. This position requires you to utilise your extensive Social Worker knowledge within the service, as well as provide leadership, instruction and supervision for the team. Knowledge or experience in housing is an advantage. This position is based in Henderson, and is 0.5FTE team lead, and 0.5FTE social work
He kōrero mōu | About You:
You will be a vibrant, energised registered Social Worker with current practising certificate and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Social Work, Primary Health and/or Child Health. Success in this role requires an appreciation and a well-developed knowledge of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and a commitment to improving outcomes for whanau. Previous experience working with Māori & Pasifika tamariki and communities is an advantage. You will have excellent leadership skills, as well as written and communication skills
