Diabetes Self Management Education.
DSME Education program
Living and coping with diabetes can be difficult. You may feel angry, depressed or alone as it is not easy to accept that you now face the daily challenges of having a chronic condition.
However having diabetes doesn’t mean you can’t lead a full and active life.
The DSME program has been developed to give you the skills and confidence you need to take a more active part in your own care, together with your healthcare team.
How Does The Course Work?
- This free self management program consists of a two hour session each week for six weeks.
- Participants can learn from the facilitators leading the course, share and gain wisdom, support and motivation from others attending.

Why attend a DSME Education Program?
